Help Fund Our
Recovery Services
EPC would not be here if not for the generous donations of people like yourself.
We are in a state of growth so there are several donation options – we are grateful for any you choose.
Recurring Support Donation
The actual cost to provide our resident services and maintain the property is approximately $1,200/ month/resident. That amount is typically unaffordable to those recovering from substance abuse, so EPC charges residents only $500/month. We count on regular donations from people like you in order to remain open. Please, help those working to maintain their sobriety and donate today.
EPC’s Wish List
Want to help out with some much needed items? Check out our amazon wish list. We are also happy to receive any gently used items like those on this list that you may have at home.
In addition, we are in need of gently used couches or couch sets for our resident community rooms.
Community Building Fund
The EPC community building is old and outdated and it will cost more to renovate than to demolish and rebuild. Bernalillo County is constructing the first ever Recovery Support Center (RSC) building next door to EPC. EPC will manage the building and its programs. This will be a great asset to the recovery community and will allow EPC to expand the amount of recovery services we can offer.
However, we still need to address our existing community building. In addition to hosting all current recovery activities, meetings, events, services, etc., it also houses our gym, kitchen, computer room, library, laundry facilities, and case managers’ offices. These are vital to EPC residents and our community members.
Therefore, EPC has started a new building fund dedicated specifically to replacing the current community building. We will continue to seek outside funding (grants, proposals, etc.) to help with this essential project, but all funds generated will be extremely beneficial to our project and our community will be equally grateful for them.
Legacy Donations
Legacy donations are incredibly powerful to organizations such as EPC. We were fortunate to receive one in 2017 that allowed us to purchase our step-down triplex. This has been a powerful option for EPC residents needing an extended period of support with a more gradual transitional process.
Legacy donations can include bequests in wills, items that can be sold for funds, and even gifts of land and/or buildings that we can utilize to further expand our services. A parting gift will become an asset that helps the recovery community for generations to come. For more information reach out to our Executive Director Jeffrey Holland, LCSW.
If you have an idea different from the donation options provided above, let us know. We’d love to hear from you!
